Mabo Fish Seafood & Wine
Seafood restaurant · Mercado del Puerto, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
A restaurant with a kitchen, dining room, fish counter and aquarium: dozens of checks every day, first on paper and then from memory. We’ve turned their operations manual into an app that the whole team uses on every shift.
A more productive workforce
Everyone knows what to do at every stage of the shift, and the quality of the work is more consistent.
Faster responses
Any fridge that’s not at the correct temperature or any problem in the dining room is immediately brought to the attention of those in charge.
New staff to start work earlier
The app teaches the procedures: new staff learn on the job, right from their first shift.
Management, including remote management
Business owners and managers can keep an eye on everything from their phones, wherever they are.
The full report on the day, with photos
At closing time, the manager taps ‘Close venue’: the owner receives a message on Telegram detailing the opening hours, checks carried out, outstanding issues, temperatures, wastage and photos taken at closing time. They know how the evening went even without being there.

from Luca (manager)
✅ Checks carried out: 12 out of 13
⚠️ 1 outstanding issue: fridge set to 5.6 °C, technician called
🌡️ Closing temperatures recorded: 4 out of 4
🗑️ Waste: 0.4 kg of red prawns

- 1
Listening
In the kitchen and front of house, with the owner and the team: how the day begins, how service is run, how the day ends, where time is wasted and where waste arises.
- 2
Structure
From the venue’s operations manual to checklists by department and by stage, temperature checks, waste management, reporting procedures and a recipe book.
- 3
Development and launch
An app that you install on your phone just like any other app, with PIN-protected access and data shared in real time between the kitchen, the dining room and the manager.
- 4
Getting started with the team
Staff have been using it since the first shift. No training is required: the instructions are in the app.
- 5
Continuous improvement
New features inspired by everyday use, such as the recipe book with weight measurements, instructions and the owner’s approval.
The whole shift,
on one screen.

Checklist by department and stage
Opening, service and closing, broken down by kitchen, dining room and manager, with the name and working hours of the person on duty.
Temperatures with thresholds
Fridges and display cabinets are checked at every shift: if temperatures exceed the threshold, an alarm is triggered.
Waste and reports
Every instance of wastage and every problem recorded, along with who was involved and when. Problems remain open until they are resolved.
Closing photo
Photos must have the date and time printed on them: the aquarium, the kitchen, the enclosed room.
Evening report on Telegram
At the end of the session, the client receives a full report with photos.
Recipe book with endorsement
Recipes featuring ingredients, quantities, preparation methods and photos, approved by the owner.
Screenshots of the actual app showing sample data: the names and values are for illustrative purposes only.
